Matchmaking ran on phone calls, registers and word of mouth. Every match was a manual introduction, families outside the immediate district were never reached, and there was no way to verify who was genuine before an introduction was made.
We built a Laravel platform with region-aware matching — caste, community, district and language preferences that reflect how these decisions are actually made — plus profile verification, controlled contact sharing, and a Flutter app so families could browse from their phones instead of visiting an office.
Signups grew six-fold after launch, and matchmaking moved from a manual introduction service to a platform families use on their own.
